Description

Colors Separation is the rare puzzle game that actively wants you to relax. There is no timer ticking down, no score pressuring you, and no punishment for a wrong move. The whole experience is built around one quietly satisfying task: taking a jumble of colored blocks and sorting them, one drag at a time, until every slot holds exactly the color it should. It is the digital equivalent of tidying a desk, and it is strangely hard to put down.

The mechanics could not be simpler. You drag blocks with your finger or mouse and move them into the slot matching their color, working through five colors: red, blue, green, yellow and orange. Every level is unlocked from the start, so you can jump straight to a harder arrangement or browse around until a layout catches your eye. A level ends when all the blocks are separated correctly, and then you simply move on to the next one at whatever pace suits you.

Even with such a gentle ruleset, the game finds room for real puzzle depth. Later levels crowd more blocks into less space, so the challenge shifts from recognizing colors to managing the board. You often need to shuffle blocks through temporary positions, freeing a blocked slot before you can finish another color, and planning the order of your moves matters far more than speed. It scratches the same itch as water-sorting puzzles but with a more direct, hands-on feel.

The best habit is to solve one color completely before starting the next, because every finished color permanently removes clutter from the board. Use any empty or nearly empty slot as working space for the blocks you cannot place yet, and when you feel stuck, look for the single block whose move opens up two or three others rather than the one that is simply closest to its home.

Colors Separation is ideal for puzzle fans who want something calming rather than punishing, for younger players learning to plan ahead, and for anyone needing a five-minute mental reset. It proves a game does not need pressure to be engaging, only a clean idea executed well, and this one is executed with real care and quiet charm throughout.
