Description
Cross Shot Ball is a minimalist arcade game about matching balls, and its charm lies in how little it asks of you and how quickly it pulls you in. Colored balls are in play, and your job is to shoot or place the ball you control so that matching colors connect. Line the colors up correctly and the matched balls clear, scoring points and opening space for the next shot.
The controls could not be simpler: click or tap to fire your ball toward its target. The whole game rests on aim and timing rather than speed or reflexes, which makes it easy to learn in a single round. Every shot matters, though, because a poorly placed ball does not just miss the match; it clutters the field and narrows your options for the shots that follow.
Difficulty builds in the classic way. Early rounds give you generous setups and plenty of room to work, but as you progress the board gets busier and the margin for sloppy shots shrinks. The longer you survive and the more matches you string together, the higher your score climbs, and chasing a new personal best is what keeps the loop going.
A few habits separate decent runs from great ones. Think one shot ahead before you fire: ask where the next ball can go if this one lands. Clear matches that open up the middle of the board rather than tucking balls into corners, since open space is the most valuable resource you have. And when a match is not available, place your ball somewhere it sets up the following turn instead of firing it randomly.
Cross Shot Ball suits anyone who enjoys quick, casual puzzle games in short sessions. It costs nothing and plays directly in the browser on any device.
