Description
Cut The Rope: Time Travel sends Om Nom on a trip through history, and this time he is not the only one with a sweet tooth. The little green monster tumbles back through the ages to meet his ancestors, and each era pairs him with a hungry relative from another time. Your mission stays deliciously simple: get the candy into their mouths. With two creatures to feed on many stages, the classic rope-cutting formula gets a fresh twist that fans and newcomers will both appreciate.
The core mechanic is the one that made the series famous. Candy dangles from ropes, and you swipe or click across a rope to cut it, letting physics carry the treat where it needs to go. Timing cuts so the candy swings, drops, or bounces through the level is the whole art. Along the way you will encounter the series' familiar toys: bubbles that lift the candy upward, air cushions that blow it sideways, and stars placed in tempting but tricky spots that reward clever routing.
Progression moves you from one historical period to the next, and each new era introduces its own gadgets and layouts. Early levels ease you in with single ropes and obvious solutions, while later stages layer multiple ropes, moving obstacles, and the challenge of feeding both Om Nom and his ancestor with the same carefully planned sequence. Collecting all the stars on a level is the real test of mastery, often requiring a completely different approach than simply finishing it.
Experience teaches a few reliable habits. Before cutting anything, trace the candy's likely path in your head and note where the stars sit. Cut ropes one at a time and watch the swing before committing to the next cut, because patience beats speed here. And when candy needs to split attention between two mouths, feed the harder-to-reach monster first.
Cut The Rope: Time Travel is ideal for puzzle lovers of any age, from kids drawn in by the cute monsters to adults who enjoy tight physics design. It plays free in your browser on desktop and mobile devices alike.
