Description
Mafia Billiard Tricks puts a delightfully dangerous spin on the pool hall: your opponents are not casual players, they are crew members of the infamous mafia, and every frame you play is about earning their respect. Beat one and a tougher made man steps up to the table. It is a ladder of increasingly skilled rivals, and the only way up is to outshoot each of them.
The billiards itself plays like a smooth arcade version of the real thing. You aim your cue with the mouse, line up the shot using the guide, then pull back or hold to set the power before releasing to strike. On touch screens the same idea works with a drag of your finger. The objective follows familiar pool rules: sink your balls, stay out of trouble, and clear the table before your opponent does. Scratch at the wrong moment and you hand the frame, and possibly your reputation, straight to the family.
The progression is where the game earns its name. Early opponents are forgiving, missing makeable shots and leaving you openings to learn the table. Each new crew member plays tighter, positions the cue ball smarter, and punishes every sloppy safety you leave behind. By the final few matches, you need to think a shot or two ahead, because brute potting alone will not beat players who control the table.
Practical habits pay off here. Favor soft, controlled strokes over full-power smashes, since a gentle touch keeps the cue ball near your next target. Learn to leave the cue ball behind a ball when no clean shot exists, forcing your rival into a foul. And always check the whole table before shooting: the obvious pot is not always the one that sets up your next two.
Mafia Billiard Tricks is a great fit for pool fans who want personality with their physics, and for anyone who enjoys a career-style climb through a roster of memorable opponents. Respect at this table is earned one frame at a time.
